Description
An excursion that encapsulates the soul of Lake Iseo: silent villages, the scent of the lake, and a panoramic sanctuary that dominates the water from above. From Sulzano, a short ferry ride will take us to Monte Isola, the largest inhabited lake island in Europe: a world suspended in time, where cars don't exist and the rhythm of life follows the pace of footsteps.
The circular route starts from Peschiera Maraglio and winds through paths in the woods, panoramic views overlooking the lake, and small villages that seem to have come from another era. The culminating point is the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Ceriola, overlooking a horizon that stretches from Monte Guglielmo to Corna Trentapassi.
The descent crosses meadows and quiet districts such as Cure, Masse, Olzano and Carzano, among bucolic glimpses and heartwarming views. A perfect excursion for those who want to discover the magic of Monte Isola step by step, amidst nature, tradition, and breathtaking views.
