Description
A ring excursion full of charm, nature and history, starting from the evocative village of Monteacuto delle Alpi, one of the most characteristic villages of the Bolognese Apennines. We will cross vast beech forests, walking between shade and light, on paths that preserve the signs of peasant civilization: ancient walls, ruins and traces of a human presence now disappeared but still alive in the landscape. The route will lead us to the Donnamorta Bivacco, immersed in the silence of the woods, an ideal place for a regenerating break. From here we will begin the descent towards the valley floor, skirting clear and gurling streams, perfect for a stop with your feet soak. The return to Monteacuto winds through centuries-old chestnut trees, true guardians of these valleys, symbols of an ancient and deep relationship between man and nature. An itinerary of medium difficulty, perfect for those looking for an authentic and silent experience, far from the most beaten routes.
