Guidders, this time an evening of snow, mountains, and high-altitude flavors awaits us.

We’ll set off from Montecampione 1800, in the heart of the Brescian Prealps, as daylight slowly begins to give way to evening. We’ll put on our snowshoes and follow the stunning snowy ridge that leads from Plan di Montecampione to Rifugio Dosso Rotondo.

Step by step, we’ll leave the resort lights behind and immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the winter mountains. All around us: snow, vast open spaces, and views over the Brescian mountains, while the sky changes color and we switch on our headlamps.

Our destination will be Rifugio Dosso Rotondo, where at last we can take off our snowshoes and gloves, step into the warmth, and sit down together for dinner at the mountain hut.

But the evening won’t end at the table.

After dinner, we’ll head back out onto the snow for the return to Montecampione, this time completely immersed in the darkness of the mountains.
