Description
When the full moon illuminates the snow, Val Bognanco transforms into an enchanted world. Our nocturnal excursion starts from the San Bernardo refuge to delve into the silence of the night, broken only by the sound of our footsteps on the fresh snow.
The path winds through silent woods and the wide open spaces of snow-covered alpine pastures, where ancient huts sleep under a sparkling blanket. The atmosphere is one of total immersion in nature, which at night reveals its most intimate and fascinating side.
Our destination is a warm and welcoming Refuge, an oasis of light in the heart of the alpine night. Here we will stop to refresh ourselves with a dinner based on typical and locally sourced products, before resuming the return journey under the same magical sky.
REFUGE: for those who wish, there is also the possibility of staying overnight in the structure and/or organizing an excursion the following day!
EQUIPMENT: snowshoes and/or crampons may be necessary depending on snow conditions. Rental is organized on request for those who do not have them.
