A trek on Monte Baldo that is much more than just a simple hike: it's a real high-altitude ride between panoramic ridges, rocky passages and continuous views of Lake Garda, among the most spectacular in Northern Italy. Starting from the Malcesine Monte Baldo cable car, the Guidders immediately get to the heart of the matter with a ridge route that offers open views of the lake, Prealps and plains.
The route touches some of the most iconic peaks of the massif, such as Cima Pettorina, Cima Valdritta (the highest peak of Baldo) and the Cima Telegrafo area, alternating technical sections and smoother sections. The first day ends with a panoramic night at the Rifugio Chierego, perfectly positioned above Lake Garda.
The second day changes the atmosphere: from the open ridges you descend through pastures and centuries-old beech woods to Prada Alta, completing a varied, complete and incredibly rewarding experience.
