Mount Barro at Sunset: Hike to Remember.

Circular hike in the Monte Barro Regional Park with return at night – Lecco

It is the first elevation you encounter heading north: Monte Barro, a silent sentinel overlooking the plain and a natural gateway to the Lecco mountains.

A panoramic and accessible circular hike that allows us to explore every side of the mountain, with spectacular views of the Brianza Lakes, Lake Garlate, Lake Annone and Lake Como, as well as the unmistakable profile of the Resegone.

We will walk immersed in the Monte Barro Regional Park, among woods, clearings and Lombard archaeological remains, until we reach the suggestive Balcone dell'Eremo, a privileged point to admire the sunset.

The golden colors that are reflected on the water make this moment magical. And when the sun goes down, we will continue the night excursion along a comfortable mule track, enveloped by the silence of the forest and the atmosphere of the evening.
