Description

A loop trek on Monte Faloria, starting from Rio Gere, is one of those experiences that the Guidders choose when they want to experience Cortina from above, with a privileged view of one of the most iconic groups of the Dolomites: the Cristallo.

We are in the Ampezzo Dolomites, above Cortina d'Ampezzo, in a wide and panoramic environment where every step offers spectacular views. The ascent leads to the Cima Faloria, and then returns in a loop passing through the Forcella Faloria, completing a varied and super rewarding route.

It is an excursion that combines effort and beauty in a perfect way: constant ascent, open views and a summit that truly repays.

Climbing the Faloria means earning every meter of panorama. And when you get to the top, you immediately understand: infinite space, mountains as far as the eye can see, and that feeling that only certain peaks can give.

The Guidders choose it when they want an intense but memorable day. Join the group and come experience the Faloria in the right way.

Guide

Alessandro

⛰ Hi there! I’m Alessandro. I’m 34 years old and live in the heart of the Dolomites, in the Cadore region. I am a certified International Mountain Leader (accredited by the Veneto Mountain Guide Association and UIMLA), a graduate in Sports Science, a mountain bike guide, and—believe it or not—a sommelier! After all, there’s nothing like a good glass of wine after a long hike. I love experiencing the mountains in every way possible: from trekking and trail running to mountain bike adventures. For me, moving through nature is pure energy, discovery, and emotion. Sharing this passion with others is my mission. Whether we are on a scenic trail or riding through the woods on two wheels, my goal is always the same: to provide authentic, active, and restorative experiences. See you on the trails… or maybe over a great glass of wine! 🍷🚵‍♂️🌲
