Description
Located above Valmadrera, Monte Moregallo is one of the most fascinating peaks of the Larian Triangle. The trail initially winds through the woods, in a silent and intimate atmosphere, until gaining altitude and opening up to increasingly wider scenarios. The most challenging part comes in the last section, when you cross the characteristic slab of white rock: a few more steps and you reach the summit, dominated by the Moregallo cross.
From the top, the view embraces a 360° panorama: the Corni di Canzo, the Cornizzolo, the Resegone, the Grignetta, up to Lake Como that shines below us. An extraordinary panoramic point, ideal for those who have already done medium-level excursions and want to try a more challenging one, but without exposed or technically difficult sections.
