Mount Pasquella: A Scenic Trail Overlooking Lake Como
Guiddy Difficulty Levels
Intermediate
Description
The trek to Monte Pasquella from Pigra is one of the most scenic and accessible excursions above Lake Como, perfect for those who want to enjoy spectacular views without facing extreme elevation gains. We are located in the province of Como, starting from the suspended village of Pigra.
This itinerary combines everything: elevation gain, satisfaction, panoramic views and a true mountain atmosphere. It's a little gem for the Guidders: a path that offers continuous views of the lake, alternating forests, pastures and open ridges.
This is one of those excursions that makes you truly feel in the mountains, while remaining close to the city. With the Guidders, the experience becomes even more beautiful: we climb together, we share the effort and we reach the summit with that satisfaction that makes it all worthwhile.
Monte Pasquella is a true natural balcony overlooking Lake Como: from the summit, the view sweeps from Bellagio to the northern part of the lake. Unlike other more well-known treks, here you will find a more authentic and less crowded atmosphere.
The mix between starting from the lake, constant ascent and arrival at altitude makes the experience complete: it is one of those routes where you really perceive the change in the landscape step by step.
Starting from Pigra means already being suspended above Lake Como: the panorama is present from the very beginning and accompanies the entire excursion.
Monte Pasquella, despite not being a very high peak, offers a wide and surprising view: one of the best panoramic points in the area, without the crowds of the most famous destinations.
Book your next outing with the Guidders and come and discover one of the most underrated (but incredible) treks of Lake Como.
