Mount Ramaceto from Ventarola – A Loop Hike Through Forests, Ridges, and Endless Views
Guiddy Difficulty Levels
Easy
Description
An excursion that smells of authentic Liguria, where the intense green of the woods meets the blue of the sea on the horizon. From the stone village of Ventarola, a small jewel of the hinterland, the route starts along ancient mule tracks that cross crystalline streams and tranquil clearings. The path climbs gently to reach the Bocca di Feia, the gateway to the spectacular ridge of Monte Ramaceto.
Walking here means breathing freedom: your gaze sweeps from the mountains of the Ligurian Apennines to the Ligurian Sea, with views that on clear days extend to the Apuan Alps and Corsica. On the southwest summit, a small stone chapel guards the silence and provides the perfect place for a contemplative break.
The loop continues along a wide and panoramic ridge, then descends gently towards pastures and beech forests, closing the circle and bringing us back to Ventarola. A varied, never monotonous itinerary that combines the beauty of the forest, the charm of the mountains and the energy of the sea air.
