Mount San Defendente is a little-known peak, but one that offers one of the most beautiful and surprising panoramic views of Lake Como. A scenic trek that wins you over step by step, through forests, increasingly open views, and an easy final ridge that makes reaching the summit even more exciting.
From up here, the view opens up to Grignone, Croce di Muggio, Legnone, and the lake, in a truly spectacular setting that surprises even the Guiders who are most accustomed to collecting wow-factor panoramas. At the foot of the summit cross, we stop, breathe, share a snack, and enjoy the mountain as we like it: together, with a smile, and with that beautiful community energy that makes every hike even more special. 🧡
