Description
An extraordinary trek amidst glaciers, moraines, and landscapes that look like they came straight out of the Himalayas. Together with the Guidders, we will experience one of the most spectacular excursions in the Swiss Alps along the famous Nepali Highway, in the heart of the Furkapass area. We will set off from Hotel Tiefenbach, above Realp, traversing a powerful and wild alpine environment of granite, ice, and immense glacial valleys. We will climb towards the Schafberg, an incredible panoramic balcony overlooking the great surrounding peaks, before reaching the Albert-Heim Hütte, a historic alpine refuge nestled in a high-altitude setting. From there, we will enter the true magic of the Nepali Highway: a panoramic traverse through hanging meadows, rocks, and glacial moraines leading to the evocative Sidelenhütte, a small alpine oasis at the foot of the Sidelen glacier. Roberto
Hi Guiders! I'm someone who grew up surrounded by trails, cows, and a whole lot of curiosity. I've been hiking in the mountains ever since my father decided to take us "up there," all together. I'd barely learned to stand on flat ground, but it was among ridges, forests, and rocky paths that I truly learned to walk. Trained as an architect, I've always observed how humans inhabit the mountains: shelters, alpine pastures, traces of life suspended between nature and human ingenuity. For over ten years, I've been guiding hikers through valleys, peaks, and forgotten alpine meadows, immersing ourselves in nature with all our senses to grasp its full charm. My mountain experience is this: continuous exploration, authentic experiences, absolute safety, and genuine well-being. It's a never-ending whirlwind of outdoor adventures... and I never want it to end. 🧡🌄
