Orobie Crest Traverse: A Spectacular Trek to the Summit of Grem
Guiddy Difficulty Levels
Intermediate Plus
Description
The trek to the Cima di Grem (2050 m) is a panoramic and rewarding excursion in the Orobie Prealps, on a peak that is not among the highest but among the most significant of the mountain group south of the Arera–Vaccaro chain. An authentic environment, made of wide ridges and open views, set between the Upper Val Parina (or Val Paruia), the Val Dossana and the Valle del Riso. Our excursion will start from the Passo di Zambla, a point of reference and privileged access for many outings in the area, as well as one of the most scenic starting points of the Orobie. The route develops along mountain paths and open stretches that offer increasingly wider views of the surrounding valleys and nearby peaks.Good fitness is required, because the excursion involves a significant elevation gain and a continuous climb, ideal for Guidders accustomed to walking at a good pace and managing fatigue. From a technical point of view, however, the path is free of exposed or particularly difficult passages, making the excursion perfect for those looking for a "substantial" peak, especially for physical commitment and views. An ideal trek for Guidders who want a complete day, made of climbing, real nature and summit satisfaction, to be experienced together with the community.
