Panoramic Camping Trip to Monte Bregagno and Bregagnino with Lunch at a Mountain Hut

There are treks that end when you get back to the car. And then there are experiences that continue even after sunset, when you pitch the tent, have dinner outdoors, and the mountain becomes home for a night.

The overnight tent experience on Monte Bregagnino and Monte Bregagno is a two-day adventure among the most scenic mountains of the Upper Lake Como area, starting from the area above Menaggio, in the province of Como. Together with the Guidders, we will walk along ancient trails through woods, pastures, and grassy ridgelines, until we reach one of the most beautiful landscapes in Lombardy.

The view will be the true highlight:  Lake Como below us, the Lepontine Alps, the peaks of the Valtellina, and a sweeping panorama that accompanies every step. But the most special moment will come when we stop at altitude to spend the night in a tent: the sunset, the starry sky, the silence of the mountains, and that wonderful feeling of being far away from everything, even if only for a weekend.

It won’t just be a trek, but a small shared adventure: we walk together, set up camp, dine under the sky, wake up between lake and mountains, and set off again with our eyes full of beauty. On the way back, the lunch break at Rifugio Menaggio will add the perfect convivial moment to close the experience in true Guiddy style: tired legs, good food, laughter, and a stunning view.
