Description
The Hermitage of San Defendente is one of the natural balconies overlooking Lake Iseo. Despite the elevation gain of only 570 meters, we'll have a panoramic view of the entire northern part of the lake and will be right in front of the majestic Trentapassi mountain. The route, approximately 11km long, does not present any particular difficulties. We will start from Castro and reach the hermitage in just over 5km. There are several scenic viewpoints that we will find both uphill and downhill. Almost at the end of the hike, we will also have the opportunity to see the "Thailand of Lombardy".
