An itinerary that literally takes you from the roots of the alders to the sky, passing through a bivouac hidden in the rock and an aerial via ferrata among the most spectacular in Val Camonica.

From the Rifugio De Marie al Volano, we will venture into an increasingly vertical world, where the landscape transforms step by step. We will climb through fragrant woods, rocky slabs, and equipped sections, until we conquer a sharp and panoramic summit, with a cross and a small statue of the Virgin Mary suspended between heaven and earth.

An excursion not only for those seeking adrenaline, but also for those who want to live an authentic, complete, and unforgettable experience.

🥾 STAGES

1️⃣ Rifugio De Marie al Volano (1,420 m) – Departure at 08:30

Nestled in a green basin at the foot of Tredenus, the refuge is the perfect starting point. The path begins among alders, rhododendrons, and Dolomite silences, gradually ascending upwards.

2️⃣ Section on rock and slab equipped with chain – 10:00 AM

Once past the vegetation, the landscape changes: the path becomes more alpine, with passages on rock and two sections equipped with chains (one fixed and one spring-loaded). Adrenaline and concentration increase.

3️⃣ The bivouac carved into the rock – 11:00 AM

After a panoramic saddle, you turn left towards a hidden gem: a bivouac set in the mountain, unique in its kind. A place that conveys strength, silence, and history.

4️⃣ Via ferrata and final ridge – 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Shortly after the bivouac, you will find the base of the via ferrata, which is not particularly technical but exposed and spectacular, with a void of over 1,000 meters below your feet. After 30–50 minutes of excitement, you reach the summit ridge: aerial, panoramic, and unforgettable, arriving at the small statue of the Virgin Mary and finally at the summit cross.
