Description
The Pizzi di Parlasco dominate the town of the same name in Valsassina, offering a long ridge between the Valico della Porta and the Passo di Agueglio. The highest point, Cima di Dasio, reaches 1,510 meters and is marked by a metal cross.
The trail is suitable for hiking, and along the ridge, there are some chains to help with the more technical sections. From the ridge, a spectacular panorama opens up: San Defendente, Croce di Muggio, Legnoncino, Legnone, Grignone, and, in the distance, Lake Como.
The two sides of the mountain offer a surprising contrast: wide meadows on one side, overhanging rocks on the other, similar to the Resegone. The excursion leads to a wild and sparsely frequented environment, immersed in pristine nature and vast, deep views.
The trail starts from Parlasco, crosses the forest to the Valico della Porta, then follows the ridge to Cima di Dasio. The ridge remains flat for about 2 km before descending towards the Passo di Agueglio through a beech forest. The loop is completed by returning to Parlasco along the return path.
