Piazzo Peak (2,057 m) from Moggio – Panoramic summit overlooking the Artavaggio Plains, nestled between the Grigne and Orobie Alps.

Description
With its 2,057 meters, the Cima di Piazzo dominates the famous Piani di Artavaggio from above, offering one of the most complete and surprising views of the Valsassina.
It's a complete, varied, and challenging trek. It starts in the woods, steadily gains altitude, and arrives on an airy ridge that opens up to a 360° view of the mountains of Lecco and Bergamo.
From the summit, you can clearly recognize the Resegone, Monte Due Mani, and the Grigne, while on the opposite side, the Gruppo dei Campelli, the majestic Pizzo Tre Signori, and the main peaks of the Bergamo Orobie stretch out.
An itinerary that alternates between woodland environments, vast pastures, and a final stretch of ridge, with over 1,200 meters of positive elevation gain: a climb that tests the legs, but not the desire to continue. Because the panorama is constantly changing and you never get bored.
It's the classic Guiddy excursion: real effort, wow views, summit conquered together.
