Piz Tri: Your Infinite Balcony in the Heart of the Italian Alps

Piz Tri is one of the most panoramic and accessible destinations in the Upper Valcamonica, on the border between the municipalities of Vezza d'Oglio and Incudine. The ascent route crosses very varied environments: it starts from woods of larches and firs, passes next to mountain huts and pastures, and reaches grassy ridges with a constant view of the surrounding peaks. The itinerary, well marked and never too demanding, is suitable for moderately trained hikers.

From the summit, the panorama is vast: to the south, the Adamello dominates with its glacier, to the east the Concarena stands out, while to the north you can see the peaks of the Bernina group. Along the way, you will also encounter remains of fortifications from the First World War, which add historical value to the excursion.

It is an ideal mountain to tackle between June and October, also perfect in winter with snowshoes. Piz Tri offers a rare combination of scenic beauty, historical interest and tranquility: a summit that leaves its mark, without requiring too much.
