Description
The Orobie three-thousanders lined up, right in front of you.
We set off with the Guidders from the Baita della Piada, above Albosaggia, and climb Pizzo Meriggio: from up here the three-thousanders of the Valtellina Orobie follow one another in a row, while to the north the Valtellina stretches out two thousand metres below, with Sondrio clearly visible in the middle and the Rhaetian ridge on the horizon. The descent passes the Baite Meriggio, the Passo Portella and the Zocche tarn, down to the Facetti bivouac.
