Presolana West-East Traverse: An Adventure Across the Orobie Peaks!

A legendary itinerary, a symbolic mountain of the Orobie Alps, and an experience that leaves a lasting impression. The complete traverse of the Presolana, from West to East, unites the three main peaks – Western, Central, and Eastern – in a single day, along a spectacular ridge suspended between sky and rock.

Accompanied by a Mountain Guide, you will travel one of the most fascinating and technical sections of the entire Orobie range: a continuous up and down between exposed passages, rocky walls, and panoramic viewpoints that open onto the Scalve and Seriana valleys, up to the Rhetic Alps and Monte Rosa.

From the Western Presolana, the ascent soon leads to the edge of the ridge, which is followed with excitement to the Central peak, where the view embraces the entire chain. The last part leads to the Eastern Presolana, the point of arrival and a natural balcony over the entire route traveled: a true coronation of strength, technique, and beauty.

It is a challenging alpine route, reserved for those with good experience in high mountain environments, a sure foot, and a desire to experience an intense adventure, under the expert guidance of professionals.
