Description

A path that seems suspended between sky and rock, where every step reveals a new horizon. We will start from the Giau Pass, one of the most iconic places in the Dolomites, to undertake a panoramic walk through high-altitude meadows and majestic spiers, crossing the spectacular Cinque Torri group and the slopes of Averau.

The destination? The summit of Monte Nuvolau, where the oldest refuge in the Dolomites stands: a natural balcony among the clouds, from which the view sweeps 360° over the heart of the Dolomites.

From up there we can embrace with a single glance some of the most beloved peaks: Pelmo, Civetta, Marmolada, Tofana, Sorapìss… a spectacle that leaves you speechless.

✨ An excursion for those who want to be amazed and feel the mountain in all its beauty, among easy paths and dreamlike views. An experience to live together with the Guidders, step by step, emotion after emotion.

Guide

Jacopo

Hi, I'm Jacopo, a certified hiking guide since 2014. I'm from Bassano del Grappa, and I mostly lead trips in the mountains, from the quieter, wilder Venetian Prealps to the stunning landscapes of the Dolomites. On my hikes, I love to share the history of these places and the people who lived here before us, recounting fascinating local legends and searching for the area's unique flora and fauna. I'm an avid reader, and it's not unusual for me to open a book during a hike, deep in the forest or on a secluded hilltop, and read a passage aloud. Words can lighten our steps and free our minds from the present moment, allowing us to embrace a moment of eternity. I can't wait to guide you on your next adventure!
