Have you ever dreamed of experiencing the energy of the ResegUp without the stopwatch? With the Guidders, we’ll tackle the most spectacular section of Lecco’s famous mountain race: from the heart of Lecco’s trails right up to the summit of Resegone. An intense experience combining rewarding exertion, breathtaking views, running technique and team spirit. The lake below us, the ridge above our heads: let’s go.
We’ll tackle the mountain section of the ResegUp with a jog/walk/run approach: light running on the easy sections, a brisk pace on the climbs and dynamic descents where the terrain allows. We’ll ascend along the historic Trail 1 to the Azzoni Refuge, on Lecco’s iconic summit.
From the summit, we’ll begin the descent towards Morterone, one of Italy’s smallest municipalities, passing through the Passo del Giuff and returning to Piani d’Erna. The final stretch follows the Sponda trail, passing by the Stoppani Refuge.
A challenging route: it requires good cardiovascular fitness, sure-footedness on mountain trails and endurance over long elevation gains.
It’s not just a trek on the Resegone: it’s stepping into Lecco’s sporting legend. An itinerary that combines the lake, historic trails, mountain huts and the summit in an intense day, shared with other outdoor enthusiasts.

I'm a certified Mountain Leader (Accompagnatore di Media Montagna - AMM), registered with the Regional College of Alpine Guides of Lombardy. With a degree in engineering, I live in Lecco, where I was born and raised in the foothills of Mount Resegone. I've always loved my beautiful city, nestled between the lake and the mountains, for the spectacular scenery it offers from every angle, whether from its mountaintops or the shores of the lake. Over the years, I've dedicated my free time to various outdoor sports, including trekking, cycling, canoeing, and skiing, and have even participated in several trail running and skyrunning races. My deep passion for nature and my local area has led me to become a Mountain Leader, allowing me to share my love for the trails, peaks, and breathtaking landscapes that the Lecco region and its surroundings have to offer.
