Description
ROCCA LA MARCHISA - 3072 meters of pure bliss! A magnificent peak surrounded by the 3000-meter giants of the Varaita and Maira valleys. Rocca La Marchisa (3072 m) is one of the most spectacular peaks between the Val Varaita and Maira valleys. Starting from the Bellino valley, and leaving the distinctive Rocca Senghi behind us, we'll hike through stunning alpine scenery. The landscape gradually transforms from lush green pastures to rugged, rocky terrain. This is a harsh environment, home to the most tenacious creatures: the kingdom of the ibex, eagles, bearded vultures, and griffons who rule the skies. Reaching the summit rewards us with breathtaking panoramic views, from the nearby Pelvo d'Elva and Chersogno to Monviso, and across the Varaita and Maira valleys stretching out before us, all the way to the French Alps to the west. Up here, you'll breathe pure, invigorating air – the air of freedom! You'll feel light, as light as the clouds drifting around you. It's incredibly satisfying to see how high your own legs can take you, and you'll be grateful for challenging yourself! The exposure to the high-altitude air has only one side effect: it makes you feel amazing and is highly addictive!
