Summit Rognosa (3280 m) on a spectacular loop trail that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys: the Chisone Valley, the Troncea Valley, the Susa Valley, and the Argentera Valley – each more beautiful than the last, each with its own unique character. At the top, the panoramas are simply boundless! The Piedmontese and French Alps stretch out in every direction, making you feel truly immersed in the alpine environment! This mountaineering hike takes you to a real high point, deep in the Cottian Alps, on one of Piedmont's most scenic and captivating peaks. The Rognosa di Sestriere (3280 m) rises like a rocky giant above a junction of spectacular valleys: Val Troncea, Val Chisone, Val Susa, and Val Argentera. Our alpine loop will traverse ever-changing landscapes: sparse woods, rocky terrain, scree slopes, and ridges that seem sculpted by the wind. On the summit, you'll feel liberated, suspended between the Piedmontese and French Alps, your mind expanding along with the view.
