A fascinating trek above Dongo, where nature and history meet step by step. From the very beginning, the path climbs through chestnut woods, ancient dry stone walls, and traces of the past, while Lake Como begins to appear ever wider below us, curve after curve.
The ascent leads us to the fortifications of the Medeghino, a place steeped in history and legends, where time seems to stand still. Walking among these structures, suspended between forest and sky, offers a unique, almost timeless atmosphere, making this itinerary unlike any other on the lake.
The last stretch takes us to the ridge of the Sasso di Musso, a true natural balcony: from here, the view sweeps over the Grigne, Monte Legnone, and the entire Lake Como, in one of the most spectacular panoramic points of the Upper Lario.
