⛰️ Sasso Gordona: Adventure Among Ridges, Forts, and Autumn Colors 🍂
A spectacular loop that will take us to the summit of Sasso Gordona, the pyramidal mountain that dominates the lower Val d'Intelvi with its elegant silhouette.
The route winds through limestone ridges and forests ablaze with autumn colors, with views that sweep across Lake Como and the Swiss peaks. Along the slopes of the mountain, we will encounter historical evidence: fortifications and trenches of the Cadorna Line, dating back to the First World War.
The trail is varied and fun, with some short sections equipped with chains that add a touch of adrenaline without ever becoming overly challenging.
