Description
A lake, a pass and a summit in the Scalve Dolomites
A panoramic hike in the heart of the Scalve Dolomites, between high pastures and views opening over Val di Scalve and Val Camonica at once. The first part follows an easy gravel road through the Conca dei Campelli, with a detour to the lovely Lago Campelli.
We reach Rifugio Campione, at the Passo dei Campelli at 1,946 metres, where we stop for a packed lunch on the surrounding meadows. From there begins the most demanding stretch of the day: a mountain trail climbing to the summit of Monte Campioncino, at 2,102 metres.
It is 11 kilometres and 550 metres of ascent. From the top the view sweeps over the Scalve Dolomites, Pizzo Camino and the basin we crossed on the way up.

Federica
Hey Guiders! 🧡 I was born in Milan in '85, but my heart belongs to the mountains of the Bergamo Prealps, where Mount Presolana fueled my passion for the great outdoors. After a few years as a copywriter, I decided to change direction and follow what truly felt like home: the trails. In 2020, I qualified as a Mountain Leader and chose to live closer to nature. I love guiding people to discover the breathtaking views, peaceful silences, and wonders of the mountains, sharing every step of the way with the Guidders community. 🥾⛰️
