Hike with us in one of the most enchanting corners of the Valtellina Orobie Alps: Val Vedello, a wild and captivating valley where water, rock, and silence reign supreme. We'll set off through shady woods and alongside crystal-clear streams, ascending into the heart of the valley until we reach the imposing Scais Dam and its pristine lake, nestled amongst the mountains. This is a place where time stands still, where nature and engineering coexist in perfect harmony. After exploring the lake and soaking in the views, we'll continue towards the Baite di Caronno, a small, traditional alpine hamlet, perfect for our picnic lunch. Here, surrounded by greenery and the scent of the alpine summer, we'll relax and share a convivial moment with views of the surrounding peaks. This hike is ideal for those who love authentic mountain experiences, peaceful trails, and discovering hidden gems full of charm.
