Live a unique experience with a morning snowshoe hike in Sestriere, in the heart of the Alta Val Susa, one of the most beloved alpine resorts in Piedmont and host of the 2006 Winter Olympics. After a short briefing with the guide, we will set off equipped with snowshoes and poles provided by the organization for an excursion amidst breathtaking views and pristine nature.
The route follows the Gelindo Bordin trail, at the foot of Monte Fraiteve, and offers spectacular views of the Monti della Luna and the French glaciers of the Écrins massif, perfect for taking memorable photos.
The snowshoe hike crosses silent woods and snowy landscapes to the Monterotta locality, where the Grange Elp refuge is located: an optional stop to taste typical local products and breathe in the true alpine atmosphere.
The return to Sestriere takes place along a flat and panoramic stretch, ideal for ending this outdoor experience of sport, nature and well-being in relaxation.
