Snowshoeing Adventure at Piani di Artavaggio in Valsassina

The Piani di Artavaggio are one of the most fascinating winter plateaus in Valsassina: a large open space that, with snow, transforms into a soft, silent, and almost unreal landscape. A perfect place for a snowshoe hike that combines nature, panoramas, and a spirit of sharing.

This loop hike is designed to be pleasant and accessible, ideal for Guidders who want to experience the winter mountain without haste, enjoying every step. The route winds through wide snow-covered meadows, gentle ups and downs, and panoramic stretches that offer spectacular views of the Grigne and the peaks of Valsassina, in a continuous alternation of open spaces and postcard views.

We will walk at a leisurely pace, letting ourselves be enveloped by the muffled silence of the snow and the authentic atmosphere of the plateau. The itinerary is varied but never excessively challenging, perfect for those seeking a balanced mountain day, where the pleasure of the walk counts as much as the beauty of the landscape.

During the excursion, lunch is planned in a mountain hut, a convivial moment to warm up, recharge your batteries, and share the day with the group, in the truest Guiddy style. After the break, we will resume our walk, completing the loop and returning to the starting point with a smile and that feeling of well-being that only a day in the snow can give.
