Mount Olano is one of the most stunning natural balconies in the Lower Valtellina. An accessible, panoramic peak that dominates Morbegno and Talamona, with views extending to the Costiera dei Cech, the Rhaetian Alps, the elegant profile of Monte Disgrazia, and as far as Val Tartano and the spectacular Bitto Valleys.
The route alternates between silent woods and open glades, with a gradual climb that offers increasingly expansive views as you gain altitude. At the summit, the horizon opens up 360°: a true natural terrace where you can stop, breathe, and enjoy the panorama.
In winter, the forest becomes muffled, the ridge lights up in white, and the view of the snow-covered Rhaetian Alps makes the experience even more evocative.
