Description
Mount Olano is one of the most surprising panoramic viewpoints in the lower Valtellina. An elegant and accessible peak that offers a wide and continuous view: towards the valley you can distinguish Morbegno and Talamona, further north the Costiera dei Cech, the Rhetic Alps with the unmistakable profile of Monte Disgrazia, the Val Tartano and the spectacular Valli del Bitto.
An excursion that alternates between woods, panoramic clearings, and open stretches, with a progressive and rewarding climb. At the summit, the horizon opens up 360°: a perfect natural terrace to stop, breathe, and share the satisfaction with the Guidders community.
❄️ In winter, with good snow cover, the route transforms into a splendid panoramic snowshoe hike: the woods become silent, the ridge becomes luminous, and the view of the snow-covered Rhetic Alps offers an even more evocative atmosphere.
