Snowshoeing on Monte Sodadura from Piani di Artavaggio

Mount Sodadura (2003 m) is one of the most iconic peaks of the Orobie Prealps: a slender pyramid that stands out above the Artavaggio Plains (which we will reach by cable car) and catches the eye of anyone passing through these valleys. Climbing it means experiencing a true journey through woods, pastures and panoramic ridges, until conquering a summit that offers the emotions of a great mountain.

From the summit, the spectacle is total: the Grigne and Resegone to the south, Monte Rosa peaking out to the west, the Orobie chains to the east and, on clear days, even the Bernina and the Swiss Alps to the north. A natural balcony that will make you feel truly high, even without reaching 3000 meters.
