Description
Among snow-covered woods and muffled silences, Lake Palù in its winter dress offers a fairy-tale experience in the heart of Valmalenco. The path rises gently through fir trees and white clearings, while snowshoes crunch on the fresh snow and the air smells of mountain.
Arriving at the lake, the panorama is enchanting: the ice reflects the peaks illuminated by the sunset and silence envelops everything. At Rifugio Palù a warm and welcoming dinner awaits us, with typical dishes and a mountain atmosphere.
After dinner, the return at night offers the strongest emotions: the lights of the headlamps dancing among the trees, the starry sky above us and the snow that shines in the moonlight.
A snowshoe hike for those who want to experience the mountains with calm and poetry, step by step, until returning in the silent night.
