Description

A Swiss Hike Among Alpine Meadows, Glaciers, and Tongue-Twisting Names A classic winter ascent that transforms into a hidden gem in summer: the summit of Magehorn (approx. 2620 m), near the Simplon Pass, is a truly authentic Swiss experience. Expect lush green meadows, sweeping glacial panoramas, and a powerful silence broken only by the whistles of marmots. We'll hike along an easy trail that's never too steep, our gaze constantly drawn to the most spectacular peaks of the Valais Alps: from Monte Leone to the Dom, to the more famous Matterhorn, and the lesser-known but exquisitely elegant Bietschhorn and Fletschhorn (just pronouncing their names makes you feel like you're at altitude!). A hike beyond borders, but within the heart of the Guidders community, for those seeking picture-postcard landscapes at a relaxed pace with a backpack full of enthusiasm.

Guide

Stefano

Hi, I'm Stefano, and I've always had a deep connection with the mountains. From a young age, I found freedom, discovery, and a connection with nature on the trails, in the woods, and on the summits. Over time, this passion has grown into something more: a desire to share it with others. I believe that a hike is a unique experience, a journey to discover yourself and the world around you. Today, I guide people of all ages and experience levels as they explore mountain landscapes. I share not only technical knowledge and safety tips, but also respect for the environment and the pleasure of moving at a slow pace, in harmony with nature. I believe that hiking in the mountains is more than just physical activity; it's an experience that can deeply enrich those who live it, helping them rediscover their inner rhythm and see the world with fresh eyes.
