Description

You leave in the dark, you arrive in another dimension. Around 4:30 am we set off with headlamps on, heading to Alpe Giumello, a natural terrace over Lake Como.

Step by step the sky changes color. First darkness, then the first shades of dawn light up the horizon. The trail is scenic and easy to walk, and mountain silence goes with us all the way to the top. There, the sun kisses the lake and outlines the silhouettes of the Grigne peaks and Monte Legnone. A toast at altitude celebrates the effort and the beauty of getting here, together.

Why join us:
- Priceless sunrise views over Lake Como
- A trail perfect for those who love walking without rush
- A summit toast to celebrate reaching the top
- New people, same desire to be amazed

Join the Guidders: the Guiddy community that wakes up early to catch the most beautiful sunrise of the year.

Matteo

The mountains have always been one of my greatest passions. I’m a CSEN-certified trekking instructor, a member of the Italian Alpine Club, and whenever I can, I lace up my hiking boots to explore trails, peaks, and new breathtaking views. I love experiencing nature in a mindful and respectful way, and I believe that every hike is much more than just a walk: it’s a chance to feel good, share эмоotions, and build new connections. Beyond the outdoor world, I’m also an ENCI-certified dog trainer and a Red Cross volunteer, where I’m currently completing my training to become an emergency medical responder. These different experiences have taught me the importance of listening, responsibility, and caring for others. If you’re a Guidder who loves hiking with a smile and wants to be part of a close-knit group… then we’ll get along right away!
