"Sunset Aperitivo at Balota del Coren: A Mountain Highlight"

Who says aperitifs (or apericena) can only be enjoyed at a bar? With this very simple but evocative itinerary, we want to propose an alternative version of the usual spritz sipped at a table. All it takes is a little organization and the desire to "take a stroll". We start from the end of Via San Rocco in Provaglio d'Iseo, shortly after the Castle and Church of San Rocco (for orientation, it's near the Osteria Del Pian Delle Viti). The comfortable little road quickly leads to the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Corno, and then continues into the woods to our destination, from which we can admire the Torbiere del Sebino and the entire southern area of Lake Iseo. There is no bar or refuge here, so it is necessary to bring on your back what you want to consume and share with others. The departure time is indicative, as it needs to be assessed according to the sunset. You need to bring a torch: to fully enjoy the view we will descend at twilight.
