Description
We depart from Carona for a trek reminiscent of spring, amid melting snow, flowing water, and returning silence. From the Calvi Refuge, we'll head toward the Lago dei Curiosi, nestled between rocks and peaks.
The route ascends through woods and clearings along an easy mule track to the Calvi Refuge. From here, we enter a more alpine and open environment, among scree slopes, wetlands, and small lakes. The trail to the Lago dei Curiosi is well marked at first, but then becomes wilder and less visible, covered in the last snow of the season.
A perfect outing for a complete experience among the lakes and iconic views of the Orobie Alps!
