Discover the Sentiero Azzurro (Azure Path), an enchanting loop that encircles Lake Mergozzo, renowned for its clear waters and the silence of its shores. Through chestnut woods and dry stone walls, the path alternates between tranquil shores and natural viewpoints that open up views of the village, nearby Montorfano, and the Alpine peaks. The route is a succession of turquoise reflections, small beaches of smooth pebbles, and sections of ancient mule track that tell of the age-old connection with the local granite.
We will walk among botanical curiosities and stories of ancient quarries, lake legends and Romanesque traces. We will stop at the most scenic spots to savor the slow pace of Lake Mergozzo. There will also be a lunch stop at one of the traditional inns.
