The Cave of the Forgers is one of the most incredible sights you can experience along the Pilgrim's Path, the route that connects Noli and Varigotti amidst the scent of Mediterranean scrub and endless views of the sea.
These two villages, beloved in summer for their beaches — from the Saracen's Bay to the wildest coves — offer magic even out of season. Liguria, in fact, is not just sea: it is a perfect land for walking all year round. To give you an idea... the photos of this trek were taken in January, with an amazing sun and 15 degrees!
The promontory of Capo Noli separates the two towns and hosts two spectacular paths: the Pilgrim's Path and the evocative Dante's Promenade. Both wind through junipers, Mediterranean scents and natural balconies on the coast.
The most exciting stop? The Cave of the Forgers, an enormous cavity overlooking the blue, where the view widens from the open sea to the golden cliffs. A place that seems to have come out of an adventure film and that gives unique sensations to share with the Guidders.
