Trekking in Campo dei Fiori Park: Historical Chapels and the Orino Fortress
A route that combines history, art, and breathtaking views in the heart of the Campo dei Fiori Regional Park.
This fascinating historical route leads along the famous Sacro Monte of Varese, passing through fourteen splendid baroque chapels dedicated to the mysteries of the Rosary. Each chapel is different and houses precious frescoes and statues that tell of centuries of spirituality and art.
The path passes under the imposing Arch of San Carlo Borromeo, surmounted by the large statue of the blessing saint dominating the valley.
Continuing through woods and ancient paths, we will reach the charming Orino Fortress, a historic military fortification that offers a spectacular view of the Prealps, Piedmont, and the vast western Po Valley.
A trekking rich in charm, where nature, culture, and panoramas intertwine step by step, to be experienced together with the Guidders community.
