Description

Among the truly magical places in the Dolomites, we certainly find the crystal-clear, turquoise waters of Lake Sorapis, located at the foot of God's Finger, the unmistakable peak of Sorapis. The waters, with their unique colors, were formed from the powders of the calcareous rock located at the bottom of the lake, originating from the melting of the Sorapis glacier. The path is challenging, but the destination will fully reward the effort of the climb.

Guide

Jacopo

Hi, I'm Jacopo, a certified hiking guide since 2014. I'm from Bassano del Grappa, and I mostly lead trips in the mountains, from the quieter, wilder Venetian Prealps to the stunning landscapes of the Dolomites. On my hikes, I love to share the history of these places and the people who lived here before us, recounting fascinating local legends and searching for the area's unique flora and fauna. I'm an avid reader, and it's not unusual for me to open a book during a hike, deep in the forest or on a secluded hilltop, and read a passage aloud. Words can lighten our steps and free our minds from the present moment, allowing us to embrace a moment of eternity. I can't wait to guide you on your next adventure!
