Description
The Sentiero del Viandante (Wayfarer's Path) is one of the most fascinating walks on Lake Como, a historic route that winds along the Lecco shore, passing through ancient villages, mule tracks, and offering splendid views of the lake.
In this stage, we will cover the section that connects Dervio to Colico, one of the most scenic of the entire itinerary. We will walk along paths and ancient mule tracks used for centuries by merchants, wayfarers, and inhabitants of the villages overlooking the lake.
During the route, we will take a leap into the past, crossing historic centers full of charm, such as Dorio Alto and the picturesque medieval village of Corenno Plinio, one of the most beautiful villages on Lake Como, dominated by its castle and stone houses that descend towards the water.
The path alternates between sections immersed in the Mediterranean forest of the lake and panoramic balconies that offer splendid views of Lake Como and the mountains of Valtellina.
