Description
Grignetta at sunset is something you won't easily forget. Together with the Guidders, we will ascend to the summit of Grigna Meridionale (2177 m), one of the most iconic mountains in the Lombard Prealps, famous for its spires, Dolomitic environment, and incredible panoramic views of Lake Como and the entire Alpine arc. We will depart in the late afternoon to experience the mountain during the most evocative hours of the day, when the trails empty out and the walls of Grigna turn orange. Once at the top, we will stop to watch the sunset, waiting for the lights of the plains to begin twinkling below us. The return journey will take place at night with headlamps on, immersed in the silence and unique atmosphere of the mountain under the stars.

My name is Gianluca Marzano, and I was born and raised in Lombardy. Today, I divide my life between Rome and Legnano, always with my backpack packed for the next adventure. The mountains have been a part of me since childhood: trails, high-altitude sunrises, and welcoming mountain huts have always been my favorite way to experience nature. In 2023, I turned this passion into a profession, earning my certification as a Mid-Mountain Guide with the Lombardy College of Alpine Guides. Since then, I've been leading groups through the wonders of the Alps and the authentic landscapes of the Central Apennines, sharing experiences built on hiking, discovery, and camaraderie. As of 2025, I will also be an International Mountain Leader and UIMLA member, holding an internationally recognized qualification. What I strive to bring to every outing is a blend of safety, enthusiasm, and a desire to help you experience the mountains authentically, step by step, creating experiences that stay in your heart long after the trek itself.
