Trekking to Cappella Savina and Presolana: A scenic hike to the Queen of the Orobie Alps, between mountain huts and bivouacs.

An exciting trek at the foot of the Presolana, the celebrated Queen of the Orobie, amidst alpine trails, limestone walls, and spectacular views. Together with the Guidders, we will set off from the Presolana Pass, following the path toward the Cassinelli Refuge, passing through coniferous forests that give way to high-altitude pastures and imposing rocks. We will climb through switchbacks, small rocky sections, and narrow gullies up to the evocative Cappella Savina (2,085 m), an incredible vantage point at the base of the Presolana cliffs. With a bit of luck, we may spot marmots and edelweiss along the way. We will return via a loop route passing by the Clusone Bivouac and the charming 'Sentiero dell'Ombra' (Shadow Path).

The ascent to the Cappella Savina offers one of the most beautiful panoramas in the Bergamo Orobie. Walking so close to the great limestone walls of the Presolana provides the sensation of being immersed in an authentic, wild, and spectacular alpine environment.
