Description
We start with the Guidders from Canè (Upper Camonica Valley), following the path to Saline and then towards Case di Bles and Plassa Gerù, where we reach the bivouac with a spectacular view of the Adamello group. From here, the trek truly begins: the trail climbs up an alpine amphitheater between boulders and steep slopes to the pass and the Rovaia Pass. We then leave the marked trails and climb the ridge through scree and cairns until we reach the sub-peak and the summit (2849 m). The final meters involve a small gully, hands on the ground, and then nothing but a 360° panorama. A true, technical excursion, off the beaten path.
A complete and challenging trek, amidst marked trails and wilder stretches, perfect for those looking for real mountains far from the crowds.
If you want to test yourself on an authentic and little-visited peak, this is the right trek: join the Guidders and conquer Cima Mattaciul.
