Trekking to Filon dei Mot and Monte Scorluzzo: a historic hike through trenches and breathtaking Stelvio views

A challenging and fascinating trek in the heart of Stelvio National Park, where history, high mountains, and boundless views come together. With Guidders, we’ll follow an itinerary that will lead us to discover the Filon dei Mot, an extraordinary First World War military village located at over 2,700 meters above sea level, on the border between Lombardy, South Tyrol, and Switzerland. We will cross military roads, trenches, observation posts, and walkways restored by the Park, until we reach the summit of Monte Scorluzzo (3,094 m). The return route will follow the Cryosphere Trail, passing fortifications, tunnels, and unique historical remains.
