Let's set off with the Guidders from Paspardo, in Valle Camonica, taking the mule track that climbs decisively through hazelnut trees, chestnut trees, and meadows. The path is immediately steep with a stony surface, but it offers increasingly expansive views as you gain altitude. We pass by alpine huts and a fountain at around 1450m, then enter a forest of larches and firs. Here, the route becomes cooler and more steady until the final stretch, where the climb makes itself felt once again. We reach a clearing with a mountain dairy and, in a few minutes, the Colombè Refuge. A varied and rewarding excursion, perfect for those who love a satisfying climb.
