Guiddy Difficulty Levels

Description
A spectacular trek in the heart of the Belluno Dolomites, in the presence of the King of the Dolomites: Mount Antelao. Together with the Guidders, we will set off from San Vito di Cadore to reach the San Marco Refuge, a natural balcony offering an incredible view of the Antelao, Pelmo, and the Ampezzo Dolomites. An authentic, panoramic excursion, perfect for those seeking the real mountains.
The departure is from San Vito di Cadore, an elegant Dolomite village nestled between forests and grand rock faces. The trail climbs progressively through the woods, alternating between shaded sections and increasingly wide panoramic openings.
As we gain altitude, the imposing bulk of Mount Antelao appears before us, known as the King of the Dolomites for its elegance and grandeur. The route is well-marked, with a steady incline and a few steeper sections.
Arrival at the San Marco Refuge offers one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the area: a natural terrace overlooking the Antelao, Pelmo, and the Ampezzo Dolomites. Here, we will take the time to relax, have lunch, and enjoy the panorama before heading back along the same path.
If you want to walk in front of one of the giants of the Dolomites, this is the right excursion for you. Join the Guidders at the San Marco Refuge and experience a day of vast panoramas and genuine mountain energy. Book your spot now!

Alessandro
⛰ Hi there! I’m Alessandro. I’m 34 years old and live in the heart of the Dolomites, in the Cadore region. I am a certified International Mountain Leader (accredited by the Veneto Mountain Guide Association and UIMLA), a graduate in Sports Science, a mountain bike guide, and—believe it or not—a sommelier! After all, there’s nothing like a good glass of wine after a long hike. I love experiencing the mountains in every way possible: from trekking and trail running to mountain bike adventures. For me, moving through nature is pure energy, discovery, and emotion. Sharing this passion with others is my mission. Whether we are on a scenic trail or riding through the woods on two wheels, my goal is always the same: to provide authentic, active, and restorative experiences. See you on the trails… or maybe over a great glass of wine! 🍷🚵♂️🌲
